More than twenty years’ professional experience in the fields of constructions, telecoms and infrastructure management. Started his career in 1995 as a construction engineer. Joined Cosmote in 1999 and initially holding a number of positions of responsibility in the construction department since 2013, including Constructions Section Manager and Constructions Deputy Director with main objective the implementation of the mobile network & IT Infrastructure. From 2013 to 2022 in the position of Construction & Infrastructure Management Director at COSMOTE Greece & OTE ESTATE. The position addressed all issues, working adjacent to senior and similar roles in the fields of building new construction and reconstruction in a multi-diverse portfolio including administrative facilities, central offices, IT Data centers, co-working centers and retail, energy & environmental management and property regulatory compliance. During his tenure, OTEestate initiated the certification of properties with LEED certification at Gold level and fulfilled several such as the Kerameikos building, SOLONOS, COSMOTE TV_KIFISSIA). A strong supporter of the view that the condition of buildings can profoundly affect human health and well-being, George pursued (and succeeded) the implementation of WELL certification in the context of the ongoing major renovation works of OTE's headquarters. Since April 2022 he acts as the General Manager of OTE ESTATE S.A. responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of the Group's Real Estate strategy.
