George Tampoureas

With more than twenty years’ professional experience in the fields of constructions, telecoms and infrastructure management George started his career in 1995 as a construction engineer in major companies of the sector.
He joined Cosmote in 1999, initially in a number of positions of responsibility in the construction department, eventually acting as Constructions Section Manager and Constructions Deputy Director with main objective the implementation of the mobile network & IT Infrastructure.

From 2013 to 2022, George undertook the position of Construction & Infrastructure Management Director at COSMOTE Greece & OTE ESTATE. The position addressed all issues, working adjacent to senior and similar roles in the fields of building new construction and reconstruction in a multi-diverse portfolio including administrative facilities, central offices, IT Data centers, co-working centers and retail, energy & environmental management and property regulatory compliance. During his term of office, OTEestate has initiated the certification of properties with LEED certification at Gold level and fulfilled several such as KERAMEIKOS Building, SOLONOS, COSMOTE TV_KIFISSIA). A keen supporter of the opinion that the state of buildings can deeply affect human health and well-being George has pursued (and succeeded) for the WELL certification to be implemented within the current major renovation works of OTE HQ.

Since April 2022 George Tampoureas acts as the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of Corporate Real Estate Management OTE GROUP & General Manager of OTE ESTATE S.A.
