A true visionary leader of A&M Architects. Michael led A&M from its first steps to its full growth into a multiciliary practice firm. Michael's academic journey is a testament to his dedication and expertise. He earned his bachelor's in Architecture from NTU of Athens with honors in 1980. He furthered his education at Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, PA, receiving his Master of Science in Architecture from the Institute of Building Science in 1982 (Extended Masters Program). His role as an instructor in design at the School of Architecture of CMU and his early career at TKA Architects in Pittsburgh, PA, laid the foundation for his future achievements. Over the years, his research on energy conservation for commercial environments and buildings reflects his passion and commitment to innovation. Moving back to Greece a few years later, Michael founded the A&M Group in 1982, when it all began. Today, Michael holds the position of Chairman and CEO of A&M Architects, broadening the company’s international outlook with his ability to create relations of trust and friendship with the company clients and associates. Being present at all design stages, Michael exposes a constant need to search for new methodologies while treating each project as a challenge. Michael's entrepreneurial and innovative spirit is a driving force behind A&M's success. He believes in creative collaboration, a philosophy that has been a distinct asset in the A&M attitude for many years. Michael has shaped A&M's core values based on the philosophy and values of a Greek family, combined with the American mentality of professionalism. His innovative design approach and commitment to pushing boundaries have inspired the A&M team and set the company apart in the industry.
