Stelios Sakaretsios is the Chairman of the Board at the Hellenic Cadastre, Greece. He is a graduate of the Department of Business Administration at the University of Piraeus and holds a Master’s degree in Digital Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the University of Aegean and the National Technical University of Athens. With over 15 years of experience in IT projects, including the analysis and design of complex software systems, Mr. Sakaretsios is an ardent advocate for the use of artificial intelligence in public administration and entrepreneurship. His expertise has led him to serve as a Business Consultant for numerous private sector companies, assisting in digital transformation projects. Until July 2023, he held the position of Head of Digital Operations at the Hellenic Development Bank-HDB. During his tenure at the Hellenic Development Bank, he contributed to landmark projects, such as the “Know Your Customer” platform, which has provided access to bank financing for thousands of businesses. Mr. Sakaretsios is also a member of the Greek Chamber of Commerce and has earned a certification from Google in digital marketing technologies.
