Ioannis’ academic studies include a BEng in Land Surveying from The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (GR), a Diploma in Surveying from The College of Estate Management – The University of Reading (UK) and a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSc in Real Estate) from The University of Reading (UK). Currently, he is a PhD candidate at Panteion University of Athens (GR).

His working experience is exclusively related to the sector of real estate. Ioannis worked with DTZ in England (London City office) and Greece (Athens office) as a property valuer, McDonald’s Hellas and Goody’s as Director of property development, SISIM spa Italy as delegate of the Greek market and GAIAOSE (Greek Railways) as a property development consultant. He founded GEOAXIS property & valuation services at 2006. GEOAXIS is the 1st registered valuation firm in Greece.

His experience in real estate covers a wide range of expertise from property valuation and feasibility studies to development studies, marketing and negotiations.

He is currently a Member of The Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as a fellow-FRICS, The European Real Estate Society (ERES) and The Greek Institute of Valuation. He is also a certified property valuer by the Greek Ministry of Finance.

Ioannis organize and gives a lot of CPD seminars and he is an assessor at RICS in Greece He chairs the valuation committee of the Greek Land Surveyors and he is a member of various committees of The Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change (YPEKA) regarding real estate issues.

He has been nominated as the Chairman of Valuation Forum RICS in Greece since March 2019.
